Components and functions:

The core components of 10 ton electric wire rope hoists in the lifting crane industry can be roughly divided into: reducers, wire ropes, motors, and electric trolleys.

1. Reducer: the reducer of 10 ton electric hoist mainly relies on gears, and SEVENCRANE provided a new generation of gear materials, it adopts multiple processes such as carburizing, quenching, and tooth grinding, with good hardness, strong heat resistance, wear resistance, impact resistance, and corrosion resistance, which can improve the lifting capacity and prolong service life of the electric wire rope hoist.

3. Motor: lifting motor adopts larger dynamic torque cone rotor brake asynchronous motor, no additional brake is required.

4. Traveling trolley: The 10 ton electric wire rope hoist adopts a new generation of electric hoist traveling trolley, which increases the effective lifting height and saves costs. The materials of the traveling trolley are generally alloy steel or ductile cast iron to reduce driving resistance, thereby reducing wear and prolonging track life.

Maintenance

Lifting equipment has a specified serve life, but these can only be used as a reference data. If you pay more attention on maintenance in your daily life, the performance of 10 ton electric wire rope hoist will exceed the specified life. If the maintenance and operation are negligent, then the equipment may be aged in advance. SEVENCRANE will take you to understand what are the maintenance methods for electric wire rope hoist:

1. For the hoist newly installed or installed after disassembly and inspection, the electric wire rope hoist should be performed several times first. But before the installation is completed, do not turn on the test drive.

2. Before normal use, a static load test with a rated load of 125% and a lifting distance of about 100 mm from the ground for 10 minutes should be performed to check whether it is normal.

3. When install or maintenance the 10 ton electric wire rope hoist, you must strictly check whether the limit device is flexible and reliable. When the hook of hoist is raised to the upper limit position, the distance between the hook shell and the drum shell must be longer than 120mm. When the hook is lowered to the lower limit position, the wire rope safety ring on the drum should be guaranteed. The effective safety ring must be more than 2 turns.

4. When the electric wire rope hoist is not working, it is not allowed to suspend heavy objects in the air to prevent permanent deformation of the spare parts.
