Mono Pump
The single screw pump is a new type of pump that works according to the principle of revolving meshing positive displacement. The main working parts are eccentric screw (rotor) and fixed bushing (stator). Due to the special geometry of the two components, separate sealed chambers are formed respectively. The medium flows uniformly in the axial direction. The internal flow rate is low, the noise is low, the volume remains unchanged, and the pressure is stable, so there will be no eddy current and agitation, and the medium will not be disturbed. The inherent structure will be destroyed.
Because the stator is made of a variety of elastic materials, this kind of pump has the characteristics that general pumps are not competent for the transportation of high-viscosity fluids and the transportation of media containing hard suspended particles or media. Its flow is proportional to the rotational speed. The screw pump has few parts, compact structure, small volume and easy maintenance. The rotor and stator are the wearing parts of the pump, and the structure is simple and easy to assemble and disassemble.
Features:
1. It can transport high viscosity medium. Depending on the size of the pump, the viscosity of the medium ranges from 0 centipoise (CPS) to 300,000 centipoise (cps).
2. It can transport media containing solid particles, grinding particles and fibers. Its content can generally be as high as 40% of the medium. When the solids contained in the medium are powdery fine particles, the maximum can reach 70%. According to the size of the pump, the maximum particle size of the solid particles contained in the medium is 2 mm – 40 mm.
3. The output liquid is continuous and uniform, the pressure is stable, the agitation is small, and the composition of the sensitive liquid will not change.
4. There is a simple proportional relationship between flow rate and rotational speed. The flow can be adjusted by adjusting the speed, and with a variable-speed deceleration motor, it can become a variable pump, with high flexibility, and can achieve constant flow control through PLC control.
5. The pressure can be automatically adjusted with the resistance of the output pipeline. Between 0-48 (kg/cm2) pressure, the user can easily adjust to the desired pressure. This not only saves energy, but also avoids that the pressure is too high or too low to affect the process flow. At the same time, the demand for constant pressure delivery can be achieved through PLC control, and the use effect is better.
6. Simple structure, less wear and tear, convenient maintenance.
Compared to other types of pumps:
Compared with centrifugal pumps, single-screw pumps do not need to install valves, and form a closed cavity by themselves to prevent backflow buffering, and the flow is a stable linear flow without large fluctuations.
Compared with the plunger pump, the single screw pump has better self-priming ability, and can suck up the water column with a height of about 8 meters according to the size of the pump.
Compared with the diaphragm pump, the single-screw pump can transport various mixed impurities, and can realize the mixed transport of gas, liquid and solid. It can also transport the medium containing solid particles or fibers, and can also transport various chemical corrosive substances.
Compared with gear pumps and rotor pumps, single-screw pumps can transport materials with extremely poor fluidity and high viscosity containing fillers, and the delivery accuracy is relatively high.
Different from plunger pump, rotor pump, diaphragm pump and gear pump, single screw pump can be used for pharmaceutical filling and metering, and the metering accuracy is much higher than other pump types.

Note:
1. The above performance parameters are the test data during the normal temperature water test;
2. For different media and different rotational speeds, the performance parameters will change, and the flow value is inversely proportional to the concentration and viscosity, and proportional to the rotational speed.
